How Signoti handles your contracts
Contracts can contain sensitive business information. This page explains, in plain language, what happens when you upload a document to Signoti.

AI provider
Signoti uses Anthropic's API to generate contract reviews. Documents are sent to the AI provider only to create the analysis you request, and may be processed under the provider's business API terms and technical retention policies.
No training on your uploads
Your uploaded documents are not used to train AI models. Signoti does not sell documents and does not use them for advertising.
Retention and deletion
Your documents and analyses stay in your account so you can return to them later. You can delete uploaded documents and analyses from account settings.
Encryption and access controls
Signoti uses HTTPS, managed authentication, access controls, and managed infrastructure with encryption safeguards. No online service can promise absolute security.
Who can access documents
Your reviews are private to your account. Signoti does not manually review your documents unless needed for support, security, abuse prevention, or legal obligations.
Not legal advice
Signoti is a first-pass review tool. It helps you understand possible red flags and prepare questions, but it does not replace a qualified lawyer.
What happens after upload
1. You upload a PDF
The file is stored in your account and checked before analysis.
2. Text is extracted or securely sent as a PDF
When possible, Signoti extracts text from the PDF. If extraction is not reliable, the PDF may be sent directly to the AI provider for analysis.
3. A structured report is saved
Signoti stores the generated summary, possible red flags, negotiation questions, and report data so you can export or revisit it.
4. You stay in control
You can export your data or delete your document history from account settings.
Questions about a sensitive document?
If you are unsure whether Signoti is appropriate for a document, contact us before uploading it. Do not upload documents you are not allowed to process.
